BLUEPRINT

A monumental piece in the story of “Blueprint”, as the first piece of work for sale under their anonymous alias.

The piece is a conceptual self-portrait, a statement of ambiguity. To Blueprint, the work signifies diversity and togetherness, while nodding to the artist's choice to remain anonymous. A decision driven by these intentions of leaving all focus on the artwork produced.

Identity Crisis is a reflection on the growing tension between who we are and who we appear to be. In an age of curated profiles, digital personas, algorithmic influence, and constant social comparison, the boundaries between authentic identity and constructed identity have become increasingly blurred.

The artwork explores the fragmentation of self that occurs when individuals are required to perform multiple versions of themselves across different platforms, communities, and expectations. Are we becoming more connected to ourselves, or further removed from who we truly are? How much of our identity is self-defined, and how much is shaped by the systems around us?

The work serves as both a mirror and a warning, highlighting the psychological cost of modern life while encouraging a deeper examination of authenticity, belonging, and personal truth.
